How the Rotary Fork Works
Using the Rotary Fork is easy and straightforward. Simply follow these three simple steps to achieve the ideal conditions for starting chicks:
Step 1
Straw: Place bales (round or square) down the length of your barn.
Shavings: Have the shavings brought in with your normal method.
Step 2
Straw: Open the bales and break them apart with your blade or bucket.
Shavings: If they are in a large pile then roughly spread the pile apart, for bales cut them open evenly down the barn.
Step 3
Attach the Rotary Fork to your machine and level the bedding. Depending on your straw length or size of piles this can usually be accomplished in 2-3 passes.
